My name is Aaron Thorne and I'm a 17 year old boy. My passion for writing started from my childhood. I played a video game and I didn't like how it ended, so I decided to write my  own version to the story. As I grew older, I realized that my writing could be more than story telling, it could touch lives, teach lessons, and showcase my view on world issues. I'm a firm believer that writing, like nearly everything else we do in this world, is a skill. Therefore, I'm always working on my diction, details, and imagery. I hope, in the future, to incorperate writing into whatever my career is.

• When I write, I write about beauty. Ironically, in my mind, the most beautiful thing in the world is the night. What is usually depicted as an evil and frightening time, I do my best to explore its possibilities.
• I write everything from poems, to short stories, and even song lyrics (which is probably my favorite thing to write).
• I love The Raven and The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe. Again, I love the night and I love darkness. I'm (in general) a creepy guy when it comes to writing. The Raven gives me chills every time, while The Black Cat explores my favorite of all human complexes, guilt.
