I've been writing stories since I was a little girl.  I used to want to be a writer, but I'm not sure if that's what I'm called to do.  Whether I am or not, I still enjoy writing and I hope that other people enjoy what I write.

I'm one of those people who never reads a book twice (except the Bible), so my favorite book is usually whatever I'm reading at the moment.

Besides reading and writing, I enjoy singing (only in the shower), movie-making, learning, acting, and swing dancing.  I'm not one of those people that you will find outside very often, I would much rather stay inside - out of the hot sun - and read a book.

I have been a Disciple of Jesus all of my life and I take my faith very seriously.  I try to live like Christ, and it is never easy.  But thankfully, I don't have to be perfect to please God, I only have to do my best and never give up.

My parents are wonderful people, they love each other and me so much.  I know that I can tell them anything.  My younger sister is my best friend in the whole world, I am so blessed to live under the same roof as her.  And my little brother is very special to me, I am excited to see him growing into a Godly young man.

My favorite colors are blue, purple, and pink (not in that order), and my favorite food is pizza.  I have a very interesting taste in music... Country, disco, 80's, alternative, pop... so it's really hard to decide what kind I like best.  I listen to Chicago, the Carpenters, and Taylor Swift the most.

Yes, my name is Alegria.  It means "joy" in Spanish, but no one calls me that, so you can call me Allie if you want. :)
