I think you'll find my names cara :)
a small white crane -quite a nice fella- dropped my off at my current parents door step in '96', so if I am any good at mathmatics, that would make me 14.
This, my friends is my, SECOND booksie account. In an attemp to find more reason to write -since i had given up on my previous account-, and to appreciate the work of others, I demolished my initial neglected site - though there is acctually no way that I could find to delete an account-, and consructed a fresh cut account :) So with great hope I might find myself having more motivation it keep a regular eye on this account.
But i must let you know after so long, I might me better suited to just simply reading others work, than actually writting my own. Though i will try, don't depend on frequent updates.
I like to look at the other side of things, though i may not lead on about it.
I'm that kind of nerd that won't miss the day of a test, because I'd rather get it over and done with, not because i quite enjoy stitting down with shacky hands, having to rely on how many brain cells you have.
I quite like netball. Of cource i would have to, if i trained for over 10 hours a week. It's just you dont have to think about anything except for the game at hand, that next moment of pure adrenalin, how to execute the perfect defence. Though i must admit, during a game, i tend to not think, i just do. you see a ball, you catch it. You see a player, you defend them. You see a free team mate, you pass the ball to then. It just becomes your natural reacting after a while.
No, one person can change the world, but they can influence others to help the process.
I believe we can make a difference.
We just need a bit of help on our side.
Child slavery and explotation, is a big side of our world, that no one should be proud of, and it's not enough to simply free the children from their chains, you have to think of what happens next. So much planning and caring goes in to saving people's lives that have been sold. They need homes something they some how missed out on.
I don't feel so worthy, posting this and putting this burden on the shoulders of others, when i myself have not contributed a great deal, but getting the word across, making the public aware of what is happening under blankets of darkness is a start we can only move forward.
Has any one else noticed that booksie dosent put spaces inbetween writting?
haha but what if i insert a page break :)
I do enjoy writting, sad that most of it dosent find a conclusion, or never makes it further than my note pad of imagination :| So maybe I'll just read yours instead, i think i'd be better at that :)
