I don't know why, but this poem makes me feel sort of sad.
I write a lot.
Seriously, I don't even know how much I've written. I get lost looking through it. I've been writing like this since I learned how to use a computer. Over 3,000 word documents have accumulated on this computer over the last eight months. Poetry, stories, dreams, I write them all down.
It doesn't mean I'm good at it. But by now I type fairly fast, especially for a two-handed chicken peck.
So if you have time to kill (or if you're procrastinating and would like to read something) please take a look at my work! I am trying to stick to one novel right now, since I have never *officially* finished one. So most of what's up here will be poetry and maybe a short story or two.
I like to critique things. Not my own writing, of course (although I do go back and rewrite outdated things). Someday I want to be an editor. So if you are a critic or want a critic, I'd love to critique your work :)
Right now I am trying to build up character development and smooth, professionally flowing sentences, especially in dialogue. If you're good at that, please take a look at my story. Thank you!
