I'm twenty years of age, and from a small town in Derbyshire, England, sixteen or so miles from the city of Manchester. I'm a student and shall be enrolling at Goldsmiths, University of London in late September to study Drama.
I don't particularly want to drag this out, and so I'll briefly mention some writing I like and then I'll be on my way: I like twentieth century, American writing, such as Kerouac, Burroughs and Ginsberg, but also some later authors, such as Mark Twain. Furthermore, I enjoy poets such as Elizabeth Barrett-Browning, Shakespeare and John Wilmot (if you've not heard of the latter, read some of his stuff, he's gloriously naughty). Being a student of theatre, certain playwrights strike a chord with myself, such as Christopher Marlowe, Arthur Miller and Stephen Jeffries. Of course, that's a summary, and I'm a much more diverse fan of writings than suggested.
As for my stuff, it can be a little bit rude, be decent nonetheless. If you want to find out what it's like, then you'll have to give it a read!
