*I am a man who fears God. I love God and praise Him even when it feels like I'm in Hell because I only benefit from my trials. So before I say anything about myself, I thank God for all that He is and for all that I am.*

Basketball and music/poetry are my passions. I love the freedom on the court with basketball. Whenever things seem to be going wrong, basketball takes me away. The same with music, except that I am music. My heart beat creates the melody inside of me which allows my soul to sing and dance to it's rhythm. Thus, you get me; a calm, melo, down to earth, vibrant, funny, soulful, spiritual, romantic, seductive man. I love passion. I love...love! I love the feeling of being in love. I love the stress that comes with love. And I love the lessons learned from losing love. My poetry is me, my emotions, my thoughts, and my life all written down on paper. I love to write poetry.  I'm very observant. In writing, I love detail because I want my readers to be there with me, see what I see, smell what I smell, feel what I feel. I encourage criticism. It can only create a better product in the end. I consider myself a writer. I do write stories, but not as much as I write poetry. I have hopes of one day publishing many poetry books. I am very grateful of those who have decided to be my fans on Booksie! I really appreciate it! It encourages me and it feels good to know that a lot of you enjoy my mind on paper. And I thank everyone who has commented on my work. Its amazing and wonderful to know that some of my Booksie family members think of my work as highly as you do. Thank you. I am a student who is majoring in Sports Administration with aspirations of running an NBA team. I love music with meaning. I love R&B because I love to hear vocals. Rap music, not so much. it all sounds the same and I can't relate to it. I have to be in the mood. But I love artists like Mos Def, Common, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, and The Cool Kids. Some old hip hop can't hurt either! My favorite artists are Boys II Men (all time favorites),Usher, Dwele, Alicia Keys, Fred Hammond, J. Moss, Mario, Jagged Edge, Tank....just to name a few. Oh, I can't leave out India.Arie! I enjoy watching movies. I like to laugh so I love funny movies. I like action cuts too. I like to hang with my friends. Not much of a club hopper, but I go. Its rare though! Not my type of scene. But I am a fun person to be around. I'm very easy to get along with. That's pretty much me!
