I would consider the bulk of my material to be very experimental. I like to utilize many different genres at times, and I don't associate myself with a particular genre. In other words, my work is not very predictable; you can't always be sure just what you're going to get.
My favorite authors include: William S. Burroughs, Henry Miller, Hunter S. Thompson, Chuck Palahniuk, Franz Kafka, Kurt Vonnegut, Charles Bukowski, Henry Rollins, Arthur Rimbaud, Ken Kesey, Cormac McCarthy, and Marquis de Sade.
Like I said, I like to use aspects of many genres, but my favorite ones, and the ones I use the most are: transgressive fiction, absurdist fiction, bizarro fiction, paranoid fiction, postmodernism in general, the Beat Generation, surrealism, and speculative fiction. I also like to include a touch of good ol' Gonzo journalism.
If you enjoy my stuff, please don't be afraid to tell me. I would love to discuss it with you. That being said, if you hate it, I'd also like to hear from you.
