Benji Crow : Cosmic Crow

Have you ever dreamed of falling through a sunset, there is no ground just beautiful reddish orange sky and pink fluffy clouds? Cosmic Crow for filled that dream. On June 17, 1975, a quiet child was born. Destined for the great unknown. A dreamer, a midnight toker. Possibilities are endless. This isn’t the first time this dreamer reached for the cosmos. Feels like I've been here before (déjà vu) or a past life creeping in. Realize ones dreams.

I was born in Las Vegas a hot dry dessert. In my teen years trouble lingered around me as if it were a pollution fog. My mother saw it fit to move to a better environment to correct my ways. The place, Cedar City, Utah out in the middle of no where. So this city rat was plucked up out of harsh Vegas and was replanted out in the valley where the wind blows constantly. There are no big buildings to deter the wind. No one to get in trouble with. I was told by many I wouldn’t finish high school, let alone college. These comments stoked the fire within. Not only did I graduate from Cedar City High School, I did it with flying colors. And then I decided that it wasn’t that hard might as well complete college. College of the Redwoods is another notch in my belt. A beautiful school nestled in the place I now call home, Humboldt County. No obstacles are to great to over come.

Today I encourage people with disabilities to get their education and to reach for their dreams. Lead by example follow your dreams no matter how great. My mother would tell me when I was young, "shoot for the stars you just might hit the moon."
