IMPORTANT NEWS: I'll be taking a break from booksie for a while to rewrite one of my old stories from ages ago. I'll come back once in a while to check on things, but as of January 26, I probably won't be very active. BUT, as soon as I finish rewriting chapters, I will most likely post them up here.
I've been writing for a few years now, mostly on and off with several different stories that I never got far with (usually just past chapter one...), but now that I'm starting to actually write more than one micro-short chapter, I'm starting to get more serious about everything.
I first started writing ... I have no idea when, to be honest! At that time, I was always reading the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, and I would try to write my own versions of the Warriors world with my own plot and characters, just for fun. I'd usually only get to chapter one, if I even got past the characters pages, and I'm happy to say I've somewhat gotten my Warriors addiction under control - however that has let me read dozens of other books I love now, which is not necessarily a bad thing, I suppose, but it also means a whole bunch of books I want to buy.
I always write some form of fiction. I've tried to write a little bit of sci-fi, and that didn't exactly work out too well, but I mostly stick with mysterious fantasy themes with an adequate amount of romance (but no super smutty stuff here, folks). I've tried medieval-ish fantasy, future-ish fantasy (the sci-fi experiment) and probably more that I've forgotten. I've finished a whopping total of two books, but they weren't the greatest. Maybe someday I'll rewrite them with the same general plot but less drama and less action-to-action parts with more descriptive segments. Maybe.
I really, sincerely hope that I can publish books and be able to use the money to write more, spoil my tortie kitten, and help my family, and just feel accomplished. Who knows, maybe I'll be lucky and the right person will read my stuff and it might start a whole line of events.
Anyhoo, I hope that any possible readers will enjoy what I write and publish here, and that you don't hesitate to tell me what you think - constructive critisism is welcome!
