A girl changes herself in an attempt to forget the boy...
First of all, I just want to thank you for taking the time read about me. I'm not that interesting of a person. I'm just...me. I have been described as the girl next door with a smidgeon of snark to keep me from being boring. I have, in my opinion, the world's best husband. He does the laundry folks! Doesn't get much better than that! Unless you throw in that he is an amazing father to our two amazing children.
About my writing: I once had a teacher tell me to write what I know. This is what I know. I know the unconditional love a mother gives a child. I know the bittersweet pain of having my heart broken. I know how deep the love a husband has for his wife can run. I know the sweetness of sticky hugs and mommy I love you's. I know the heart ache of having a friend's life cut short. I know the darkness of thinking I'm not good enough and the wonder of realizing that I am. I know these things, I write these things.
A few of my favorites writers: I have a fascination with Anais Nin. Her words are always so poetic and have a deeper meaning. Mary Janice Davidson amazes me with her ability to weave a dark yet humerous tale.
A few of my favorite books: I am currently infatuated with Mary Janice Davidson's UnDead series in which this normal girl dies only to learn she is Queen of the Vampires. (This is the dark yet humerous tales I speak of.) I also have a soft spot for The Bible. If you are ever in need of a book that has it all (murder, sex, adulterous affairs, wars, and much much more) then I suggest reading The Bible.
