To anyone who is interested in apocalyptic or supernatural type stories, please read my novel "The Assassin- Blood Runs Cold, or Zarah's Journal, I'd really appreciate it.

I've been writing poetry, stories, and other random things since 4th grade. I always have had a passion for writing, which sometimes got me into trouble with my school work. In these past three years I've been working on a fantasy novel called Rose of the Desert. At first glance it may seem like a Warriors(by Erin Hunter) look a like just with lions instead, but it nothing like that. It's got magic, mythicial beasts, Arthurian legend, love and war, a little sibling rivalry, and of course lots of adventure.

As of right now, I have no plans for posting Rose of the Desert on Booksie, because I already have it up on my deviantart. I found Booksie when I was looking for a site like deviantart, but for writing only, so I could post anything non-related to the Rose of the Desert stuff.

The Zarah story is basically about a girl who lives in a town with permanent winter. Her father is part of an elite team of soilders for the government of her country, however he has a secret that very few know of and Zarah is about to find out. Zarah starts having weird dreams about animals she had never seen or heard of before, wolves. She and her friends are sucked(metaphorically) into the secret world of wolves. I'll be adding more journal entries of hers later.

The Assassin- Blood Runs Cold is a another story that takes place in the same world, in the same time period, and for the awhile, the same twon as Zarah's story, in fact Zarah shows up in the first chapter, and she may become a major character. This story is about Blackriver, aka The Assassin, who is an immortal shapeshifter and looking for her lost brother. She finds his last journal, but she'll need more then an old book to help her find him. Blackriver's going to need the help of the last person she would ever except it from, her mother. So,can they find him? Read the story to find out.

Okay, so enough about my writing, here's some stuff about me:

I'm a cat and dog person(I love them both equally, and bears are cool too)

I love being in nature and just sitting in my backyard in the grass.

I'm an artist who uses many mediums, writing is just one of them and probably my favourite.

I love rock/metal music, my favourite bands include; Three Days Grace, Disturbed, Evanescence, Flyleaf, 30 Seconds to Mars, Breaking Benjamin, and Rise Against. I listen to these alot while writing or drawing, music inspires me greatly.

I'm currently in high school, but as I said above, I've been writing since 4th grade, however never as passionately as I do now, until about a year ago.

I generally hate love stories that end in "happily ever after". I perfer ones that end in death and sorrow.

I love reading dark or sad poetry, short stories and novels too.

I prefer to listen to break up songs over love songs. Conflict and broken hearts are always good,(but not in real life).

Some times I like to imagine mythical creatures are real, but who doesn't wish they could have a pet dragon or unicorn.

I'm an avid supporter of animal rights and protecting the environment, I plan on going into wildlife conservation.

If I were to choose a different book for my favourite, it would be The Complete Collection of Edgar Allan Poe,(yes this is a real book and I do own a copy of it, but as of right now, I can't find it)

One more thing to add, even though my profile pic(avatar, or whatever you call it) is of a guy, I am a girl. He's just a character in one of my stories.
