Hi everybody,

My name is Ekaterina, or Kat for short. I am 24 years old and have been through a lot to say the least. I am a former Marine, a singer, a violinist, and hopefully someday I will be a published author. I began to write fan fiction when I was in the fifth grade, but as the years went by I hated the restrictions of it. I began to develop my own characters who lived in their own stories, It was so much fun and such a great escape! My favourite genres to write include dark fantasy, science fiction, and horror. One odd thing about me (I guess it's odd, maybe not) is that I always weave a love story into the main plot...I don't know what it is, but I have to have love in there. Even my war stories have love in them. I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic.

I also enjoy drawing, reading, playing baseball, hockey, and spending time with my one year old son Sasha.
