Ok. Maybe the smiley isn't appropriate :(
Because this isn't good news.
I hate to do it as much as you hate to see me do it.
But what other choice do I have?
There's nothing here for me anymore but the amazing friends I've made on my somewhat short journey through Booksie. I don't like writing to the deadline that the wesbsite sets. I'm spending most of my time on another site. I am writing novels independent of the internet, at long last.
Booksie gave me the kickstart I needed. But now I need to say goodbye to it.
Apart from Zaudet1's contest, (I couldn't abandon you guys!), I am now officially leaving Booksie.
The BCL is finished. Since all the delays we've had, there's not point in continuing.
The winner, in my eyes, is Aemmabella, so please please please check her out.
Damnit Nicky! You're just insane! I am so sorry about what's going on right now in your life, but know that my email is only a computer away, and I ALWAYS be there to talk to. You're as ossum as a possum! And I regret not being able to tell you about this before, because I've only just made my mind up!
Paige. You're insane too. I hope that your year at school goes great! I know you're not on Booksie much either at the minute, and I'm sorry that I couldn't say goodbye to you in person either. But WKC will always be amazing, and so will you. You will be on a shelf, alongside Nicky, one day :)
Vicky and Lou:
I am so sorry. We haven't spoken in FOREVER. But you guys are amazing. I'm waiting for your books to be on the shelves :)
You're awesome too :) And always remember that.
And before I leave, I just thought that I should tell you guys something.
The manuscript that I'm preparing to be sent to an agent is dedicated as thus:
This book is dedicated to Paige, to Nicky, to Vicky, and to Lou. And to the thousands of others who sat by me on the way.
