My name is Shelby, I'm fourteen, and am living in the lower peninsula of Michigan. I love fantasy, science-fiction, and history stories. I suppose what sparked my love for writing was when I was about eleven, and I had gotten an account on Neopets.com to be able to talk with my two best friends. Soon after I found that you could make guilds, or clubs, and some did role-plays. I just loved the concept of having your own character and interacting with others in a whole other world that wasn't a virtual game you had to download.

Since then, I've started over fifteen books, erased thirteen of them and finished none. Right now I have two plots I think could sell if I put enough effort into them. My favorite of them is Butterfly's Scar.

Before finding this site, I was at deviantart.com. It is a magnificent site for sharing art, but not too much for stories. They seem to be a little ignored, there, I personally think.
