Instinct may tell you to run, but is it always right to...
My Life: Hey, the name's Lindsay and I'm 15 going on 16. I'm a sophomore in high school and have a few great friends. I'm an only child and have a small family. Some interests of mine include writing, making graphics, reading, drawing, and eating(: Who could pass up good food? I also like playing basketball and I just started trying out skateboarding. I'm not too great at it, but I hope to get better. First I have to work on getting my bravery. Hmm...well I have a dog. She's a Schnoodle: a mix between a Schnauzer and a Poodle. My favorite breed though, is definately a Shetland Sheepdog. I love cats too, however. Especially the Maine Coons <3 They are so fluffy. Too bad I'm allergic...
My Future: At this point, I'm still not too sure what I want to do with my future. I know I definately will go to college, but I'm not sure what for. For a while I had my mind set on either game design or graphic arts of some sort. But then i got to thinking: what about my family? Many careers with computers are several hour jobs and require late-nights. What would that do for my family? I wouldn't be able to have pets or visit with them very often or see my kids until night. I hope to write a book, but not as my one and only profession. I want to do something to help animals, but a vet wouldn't cut it for me. I can't stand the sight of blood, unless you're ok with me passing out or vomitting all over your feet. But hey, it's up to you. So other then those options, I don't have much else. I do like fire...maybe I could be a firefighter(x
My Writing: I wouldn't consider myself one of the world's best writers, but I don't think I'm the worst either. I could use some improvement, however. I find myself usually writing about wolves or dogs mixed in with teenagers. Sounds childish, but it isn't necessarily. I enjoy writing fiction stories with magic or mythical beings, too. Many of the books I read are the same kind of ideas that I enjoy writing about. I've tried writing many books already, but haven't managed to find something that I stick with. The farthest I've ever gotten is probably 18 chapters. But I quit after that, because as I went back and read it, I found myself cringing from the awfulness of it.
