Expectations from elected officials from a conscious view.
Born and raised in Compton, California but Long Beach is home.My writing style reflects a lyrical tone while you recieve a social and spiritual message.I have performed on the stage at The Kotton Club,The Catch One, Los Angeles Trade Technical College, Chelsey's PlayHouse, Christ Chapel of Long Beach, Shades of Afrika, The Village Grind Coffee Lounge & Art, Coffee Haven which turned to I-Candy Coffee and now it is West Coast Smoke Shop. I dropped lyrics there too and brought some of my favorite Spoken Word Poets along with me. You can catch that broadcast on www.blogtalkradio.com/h-l-t.
I have also been on the mic at The Center Long Beach, Long Beach Pride. Spiritual Truths Unity Church, and Viento y Agua in Long Beach, Java Monkey, Mocha Match, Atlanta Pride, Sip, Oglethorpe University, The “V” Lounge, The Grambling Grounds, Urban Grind, The HOT Spot Coffee Shop in Atlanta, New Covenant Church of Atlanta, W.R.F.G.93FM & BlogTalkRadio.
But with all of that there is nothing better than the pen. So I write...."and I write like me"
I've been away from writing for about three years. I would like to connect creatively with other writers as I grow as a writer myself.
Shalom
