I havent told anyone on Booksie yet so this is the first you will hear of it. I have talked about it on facebook however. I, Gothikah666, will be a PUBLISHED poet. I entered a contest got letter back saying they would publish it in their next compliation poem book. It will be available on hundreds of online bookstores and even big names like Amazon.com and even Barnes & Noble.com. So I havent put it up on my profile yet but when I get my book and award that Im recieving I will post pics and edit my profile to say that I am officially a PUBLISHED poet. So to all the fans who supported me through all this time, Im glad I could make you proud and show everyone my work isnt for nothing...its not worthless. Exactly one year today I posted my first poem to Booksie.com in hopes of just having a couple people tell me what they think, to see if I was even good enough, to see if I was good at all. Well who would have thought I would have come so far. Over 200 fans, thousands of reads, a Facebook page, a twitter, its just...wow. I started my Bookise when I struggled with my addiction to cutting myself. I was clinically depressed and as a lot of you have read, thought of committing suicide. That was a long year ago, now look at me. I love and want to thank every single fan I have for the never ending support given to me even in my darkest days. Its fans like you all that kept me going. March 16th 2011 was the day my life changed for the better. March 16th 2011 was the day I finally spoke out. March 16th 2011 was the day Gothikah became more to me than just a name... I look forward to much much more work to write for you all and I look forward to also hopefully one day finally getting published and making all my work and all your support worth while...THX GOTHIKAH666 T_T

So Valentines day past and I got like 2 good poems out of it and in case anyone is wondering, me and my girlfriend are still together. We are coming up on 5 months soon and lifes been a little off lately. Umm...Oh my Facebook page is going good and I only have 19 likes so please if you have one "like" me. Its a really good way to get in touch with me, you can ask questions and from time to time I post some spoken word poetry videos or just cool or important things to think about on there so yeah check it out...THX GOTHKAH666 T_T

My newest poem Expression of Depression Volume NONE is out now and its blank verse. Ive been trying new styles and I like that one and I think its a great poem. Homecoming was yesterday and it was incredible. Me and my girlfriend are doing great now that all the drama with other people went away...Im all the way up to 135 fans and I just came out with a new poem Thy Crimson Ocean which is a different form of writing rather than my usual material so check it out when you can if you want...THX GOTHIKAH666 T_T

So yeah this week was crazy for me with things ranging from school to my home life to my girlfriend and just everything...but the past like 3 or 4 days have been great. My girlfriend who I love is helping me pull through some stuff and the Homecoming dance is on saturday for me so hopefully that will be fun.
