Grieving the loss of a loved one
This is just a hobby of mine...for now ;). I did quite a bit of creative writing in high school, including one independent study course by correspondence. In both cases I was encouraged by instructors to keep writing and to try to get some of my work published, but I got away from it during university. My technical/analytical writing skills were put to use there, lol. A few years after I graduated from university, I started to write again, but couldn't keep it up when my daughter was born. Now, a decade later I'm realizing the only way to really get back into it is to just do it. Amateur it may be, but it can't be improved without practice and getting feedback. So, comments and critique are most welcome!
