I am a member of the Association of  Independent Authors.

 My real name is Graeme Hawke and I write under Ian Dawn and I am a tad dark with a well meaning heart. !! lol

I live in Adelaide, Australia and although I have travelled the world I still love it here, oh and VAGAS!!!!!!!

I am a father and husband as well as a poet and writer who has been published and on radio in my teenage years and now that my life is at a cross roads I have started to put pen back onto paper.

I Love KISS, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Disturbed, Manson, Murderdolls, Wednesday 13, Dope, Audioslave, Black veil Brides, Blink 182, Bullet for my Valentine, Bowie, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and all good new Heavy metal. None of that Death metal crap or opera metal.

I I love My Hard Rock / Heavy Metal. (currently listening to  the new Marilyn Manson album)

 I like all the BTTF movies - McFly!

Underworld All 4 movies / UltraViolet / Resident Evil / Predator / Alien / Dog Soldiers

I love Horror and comedy and a horror comedy does it every time. Shaun of the dead, Lesbian Vampire Killers, Fright night (the original) and The Frightners

Oh and I love THE GOONIES

FAV writers:- Shaun Hutson, Richard Laymon, Graham Masterton, Lee Childs, Dan Abnett, Stephen King, Dean Koontz.

 Fav Books:- White Ghost, The woods are dark, Mechanicum, The dark Half, IT, The stand, Cellar, The Odd Series 1-3, The Necromancer Series 1-6. And many more I read about 30 novels a year.

I live my life as I like others will appreciate, I dont suffer fools but love to play the fool! Anyone hurts what is mine will pay, words are sharper than a knife and hate is for people who have no life and love to inflict pain unto others. I know my work is dark and tortured at times but I can not appologise for that is it is what is inside of me and writing gets it out and helps me be a ballanced person.My wife never reads what I write and does not appreciate what I do but thats ok its not for her its for me, and you who read it!

To my fans old and new I do appreciate all comments and reads to those who ask me to read and comment on their work, remember I will do the best I can and I will try and help but I am no champion at this I am just a guy who writes!

I love sunsets and sunrises, I work out each day and am strong for my age (49) and at 6'3" tall and 115kg I try my best to stay fit. I love my wife, two daughters my cats and my Canaries.
