Section 1 - About Me

So, as I have already mentioned, my name is James. I am a 14 year old writer who lives in the UK or more specifically Sheffield. I am in full time education, I am talented at academic subjects especially English! I am not too good at subjects like Art, I try and draw a cat, it ends up looking like a tree. True story. I enjoy playing sports such as Cricket and Athletics.

Section 2 - My Short Stories

The type of thing that I write the most are short stories. They are my specialism. I prefer writing them to novels because when I write a novel I usually get bored after a few chapters. I have written many short stories however only a few of them are published, I will post links to my favourites below...

Today is the day - Less than 750 words

This poem is definately one of my favourites. It is short so it doesnt take to long to read and it has quite a simple plot with a nice little twist at the end. Hints to the twist can be found throughout the poem however differant people realise at differant times. I would recommend that if you have a few minutes, you read it!

I dont usually write poems. I dont have a very poetic mind however once in a while for one reason or another I feel the need to write a poem. This isnt one poem but it is a trilogy. The third poem of the trilogy has to be my favourite all time poem! I would seriously recommend that you read these poems. They are marvelous!

This is the first thing I ever published to Booksie! It isnt a poem I think is brilliant however it is a simple poem about Bubble-Gum. It is just a little humerous poem! It will take a few seconds to read.

Section 4 - My Novel

I am currently writing a novel. The novel is about a boy who is aged 14, he wakes up from a coma in a hospital. The hospital is seemingly empty. Once he gets out he realises that there are hardly any people and insteead there thousands of zombies! The novel is about his attempts to survive and his attemts to protect those around him. I would reccomend that you read it!
