No one tells my children how much I love them. Leave that to me. Gay people are God's children as much as you are. Don't tell God's children He doesn't love them. Leave it to God to tell them the Truth Himself.
-To My Readers-

I write for the joy it brings me. For the funny feeling that tickles inside my chest when I put into words the images that flutter in my head. And after learning the joys of having other people read my work, I now write for you too.
Your comments bring smiles to my face. And anchor my determination to become a better writer and share more of my writing with you. If it weren't for you taking from your precious time to let me know your thoughts, 'If He Ever Cries' would probably still be one (maybe two) chapters long and collecting dust on my desktop.
And I say that in recognition of how special it is for me when a reader leaves me a message. Your words fuel me to keep a reasonable pace in writing. So it's thanks to you that the story is growing longer faster and not taking the rest of my life to complete :) I hope by that I'm putting a smile on your face.
So, for all your nice words, hilarious comments, and faithful reads...THANK YOU! XOXO
-About Me-

Hello! I'm Jean Roz. Inhabitant of the Caribbean and hater of people who spit on the sidewalk. I live by what I believe is right. I don't believe in religious litany or empty practices, but in true spirituality. Almost buddhist, almost christian, almost atheist, and almost believer.
People look me funny, maybe because my gaze is mostly absent. My mind is always someplace far away. My heart...aching for sad stories that live only in my head.
Sometimes I don't have enough middle fingers (for salutes, that is), but I'm mostly nice ;)
I'm female, straight, but hardcore pro-gay rights. You can't be my friend if you are a gay-hater. And we can't talk about the topic if you are like "I don't have anything against gay people, BUT...", unless you're willing to listen to my spicy tongue. So don't go there.
Highlights: walks barefoot most of the time, bitchy, loves Steve Carell, badmouthed, cat-lover but allergic to them, puzzle-solver, mom, sometimes awkward around people, sucks at making jokes, can't stand repetitive noise, strong believer in Karma, etc, etc, etc.
----------MY WRITING----------
I've only recently started writing. Maybe my writing appeals to some people. Constructive criticism welcomed and wanted, please. You can be blunt; I can take it! If you like my writing, please let me know. If you find grammar errors, please point them out to me 'cause after reading my own writing a hundred times before posting, the letters just jumble up together and I can't see errors anymore.
I like romance, tragedy, mystery, and fantasy the most. And, for some reason, I feel more compelled to read and write about gay love (boy x boy). Maybe I was gay in a past life...who knows?
----------READING REQUESTS----------
----------MY BELIEFS----------
Love is love, and it's always beautiful.

People should not be judged by the gender of the people they fall in love with. All people are worthy of falling in love and be free to express their love like everybody else is free to do. To kiss, to hug, to hold hands, and to show affection in public like eveybody else does. To marry, to raise a family. To fully participate in our society without fear of being threatened, attacked, or discriminated on the grounds of their sexuality. We should celebrate their love and accept them for what they are.
Being homosexual shouldn't be a truth someone is afraid of telling people.

If who you fall in love with is no one's business, then why are you giving your opinion about how right or wrong it is for others to love people from the same gender? It's none of your business.
Don't quote the Bible on gay people. That's a sin. "Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned..." (Luke 6:37) Remember? Of course you do, you Bible expert ;)
----------MY BLOG----------
I have a blog on tumblr. I'm a simple person, so my blog is simple. If you go to "My Writing" page on my blog, you'll find links to pictures of my characters. Let me know if you can't find them.
----------CURRENT PROJECT----------
If He Ever Cries by Jean Roz

Kaiden turned heads everywhere he went. Twenty years of sexy, smart-tongued, intelligent, goodness. But he was in love with the wrong man. The love of his life was already taken by someone he couldn't fight against. When the twists of life rip his lover off his hands, death doesn't seem like a remote solution. Until a new player joins the game, making Kaiden question what sacrifices he's willing to make for love.

(Thanks for such a hot cover! And a BIG thank you to AMS1971 too.)
----------FUTURE PROJECT----------
The Devil Knows Your Name by Jean Roz
This is an idea for a future project. I wanted to add it here so that I don't forget it later. Plus, I practiced making my own cover ;) Nothing to boast about yet lol. I'm not sure if I want the title exactly like that or maybe change it to "The Devil Has No Name." That will depend on what the plot ends up being. ;)

And here another cover I made while practicing. I think I like this one more ;)
