Sorry I've not been on here much this week. I had a bit of a scare on tuesday night with a buzzing in my heart and pins and needles in my hand which resulted in 6 hours in A&E being wired up to ECG machines and having bloods taken. Thankfully all results were normal. I have to undergo some more tests to try and find out why this happened, but at least it wasn't a heart attack which is what I was worried about. Will try and catch up with reading your poems this week.

I've been cleaning out my attic because I am getting it insulated curtesy of the Governments free insulation scheme and it it a mammoth task after living here for 20 years. It is amazing how much junk you keep thinking you'll use it again. Whilst going through my stuff I discovered some journals from my considerably younger days with some poems I wrote in my youth. I'll post some of them over time if I can get the courage as they are nothing like as good as the wonderful poems on here.

A Fan of Poetry!

I have always loved reading poetry. I love the way you poets can pour out your emotions and it can really touch others who read it. I have until recently only ever written about 5 poems in my life but reading yours is helping me to think about writing some more and who knowns maybe someday I'll be brave enough to post one.

Ok I've plucked up the courage to post a few poems. Two from when I was in my early teens and some others I wrote recently.
