hi Im Dave Donahue and I write beciase it helps me to overcome some obstacles from a bout of meningitis.  In 2005 I was hospitalized and almost died from the illness.  Fortunatley I survived but suffered some damage form the disease and this is when I started writing to get back some cognitive issues I had from the meningitis.  I wrote an autobiography My Life, a lfe story of a man infected" which I was recently (Nov 8th) interviewed about on The Authors Show.. I enjoy writing and consider it my calling.  I am a former US Marine and and commerical electrician and have a wife and 10 yr old son.
