Horror writers! Here's something to put your writing...
Posted: Feb 1, 2013
This is a preview of my newest novel: When the Bell...
If you're reading this, I hope it's because you enjoy my writing.
My real name is Hollie Rogers, I got my pen name from my old nickname Kalika, which means 'she who destroys'. My new nickname is Malteser, thought I'd put that in there.
I'm 17, live in England and love books about anything that is paranormal or supernatural. I've always loved writing, even when I was a little kid. I've been making up stories since I could hold a pencil!
My other profile is now sorted: http://www.booksie.com/SnowHowl/ please take a look :)
Chances are you're looking to see if reading requests are open right now. I'd like it if you could comment on something of mine when I've responded, particularly a chapter of my new novel: The Shifter, simply because I'm looking to get it and its sequels published when I'm done, so if you could take the time, I'd be so grateful. READING REQUESTS ARE NOW CLOSED WITH EXCEPTIONS. ALL REQUESTS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN PREVIOUSLY PROMISED WILL NOT BE REPLIED TO UNTIL JULY ---->> Sixth Form and exams... sorry :S
NOTE: I have slight OCD with spelling and punctuation, so if you ask me to review your work, be warned, I point any and all errors out!
Please go to their pages, I really think you'll like what you find!
I don't often put up reading requests as I find it tedious and do not like to waste time. It is easier and more rewarding in my opinion to let people find and comment on your work willingly and without having to be asked..
My newest novel 'The Shifter' is going well, and if you have the time I'd much appreciate it if you reviewed it for me as I do not often post up reading requests.
Summary from THE SHIFTER:
After the Final War, when humanity has to rebuild itself, where once was Britain is now a new nation. With no cause for patriotism and not wishing to risk starting a war due to pride, the people of the former Britain simply named their new nation the Country. The Country is split into seven sectors, each sector with both a number and nickname: Mounta (1), Shepherding (2), Oaklea(3), Gulf (4), Ferna (5), Seaton (6) and Huntin (7).
Layla is the typical sixteen year old from Ferna, just about to finish school, worrying about what work she will have to be put into.. and of course, about the Change. She knows there is a good chance she may be affected, and she knows that if she is, she will be taken away.
What Layla doesn't know is that the Country is not without its secrets, and these secrets will change her life forever.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, I apologise if your eyes have melted from the tidal wave of mostly useless information!
