I love writing and reading and would love to gain experience and insight by joining this site. Writing and getting lost in stories is a passion of mine and I hope you enjoy what I have to offer. I will also enjoy reading the works of other writers and sharing thoughts and opinions with them.
.
I love to write and although it's usually fiction, it's a great way for me to express myself and open up because in real life I sometimes keep emotions in and hide them. I don't like to feel vulnerable, and sometimes having someone even read a story I've started to write or one of my poems makes me feel exposed and embarrassed. Like they can see too much of me, see into my head or something. On Booksie, however, it's different because it's other writers reading and commenting and they are people I don't personally know. I hope that makes sense to you. And it's not that I don't want to share my writing, I want to. I'd love to someday publish a book and have my words live on with my name forever, after I'm gone. I just don't always say the things out loud to a person that I would write when it's just me. A poem to an ex I still had feelings for, I would never say those things outright. I might try and come up with something, and be honest because lying would get us nowhere at all...but I wouldn't be able to say everything in the most clear and uncomplicated way. It's not just brain to mouth for me most of the time. But with writing...well it can be brain to paper or brain to screen. You can go back and fix things, improve things, add things or delete.
I love that.
