I just finished reading Dear John the other day. Thought...
i have to the conclusion that who i am is not very important. more the things i do to help people and make the world better one foster parent at a time. that's right i speak for potential foster parents in my state. i was in foster care for five years before i was adopted by my foster family who i now refere to as Mom and Dad(actually its Mom and Daddy but lets not give any one a reason to make fun of the 16 year old daddy's girl). Before my five years as a pre-adoptive child, i was bounced around all over the country. i became shy and very closed in. But then i found writing. it quikely became my therapy and now here i am. a motavational speaker so future foster parents can know what to expect once entered in the field.
writing is something that i am very passionate about. i write everything from poetry to biographys and everything in between. you may notice however that any and all of my writing if there is a father involved he is made into the bad guy. i will explain this but only breifly. i ran into some problems with my many father figures. everything from abandonment to intense abuse. Until now. i have a father who is my idol, my hero. i love him very much and realize that he has helped my past this fear of males and showed me how much good they can bring into your life. so here's to you Daddy.

thank you for your time and i hope to hear from you about my work. and as i tell every one: one who choses the queen of hearts over the king of diamonds is a friend of mine!
