Hello writers of Booksie. I'm Lucciola.
{if you didn't know, it means firefly in Italian :))}
I'm a 14-year-old aspiring writer. I tend to write sad stories. Why? I'm not sure. I don't have a depressed/sad personality at all, I just find that writing about tragedy is the easiest at the moment. So tragedy combined with my favorite genre - romance - tends to be something that can conquer writer's block most of the time. xD I also often base my short stories on songs, simply because sometimes I have the urge to write but can't think of anything. Then I find a song, think of a story, and it goes from there. I love the idea of dreams: the whole, conscious mind thing and how real some things you imagine in your sleep can be. Although, I do despise the feeling you get when you've had the most wonderful dream and you wake up to realize that it was just that: a dream. One day I hope to be able to Lucid Dream - I think I may have done it once, but I got so excited within the dream that I immediately lost it, if that makes sense. It probably doesn't , but oh well. That's me.

Music is my life. ♥ ♫
Aside from writing about it, I've also been playing the piano since I was in Preschool. I'm hardly amazing at it considering my experience, but I still love it. Currently learning Claire de Lune. ^^; My iPod is pretty much my boyfriend, I take it everywhere and would never be able to survive l o n g car trips with my family without it. I tend to find a song, be obsessed with it - non stop listening - for a few days-a few weeks. Then, I'll get sick of it and not listen to it for a long time.
