Hi my name is lynne (lyndypops) is a fun nikname I was given by a friend. I'm a 36 yr old who never really got on at school in fact a very average student! Ive always loved poetry though and my favourite book as a child was captain beaky and his friends, when I became a teenager I found the amazing mind of spike Milligan and a few years ago I started writing poems! They come to me now and then and I've decided to share them with you all and I hope you enjoy them, as they give me a much needed escape from the hassles of life and I love to write them!

The bravest animals in the land are captain beaky and his band, That's timid toad, reckless rat, artful owl and batty bat, Through the woodland singing songs that tell how they have righted wrongs, Once hissing Sid an evil snake kept the woodland folk awake, In fear and trembling every night incase he gave someone a bite (Jeremy Lloyd) :)

On the ning nang nong
Where the cows go bong
And the monkeys all say boo
Theres a nong nang ning
Where the trees go ping
And the tea pots jibber jabber joo
On the nong ning nang
All the mice go clang
And you just can't catch em when they do
So it's ning nang nong
cows go bong
Nong nang ning
Trees go ping
nong ning nang
The mice go clang
Oh what a noisy place to belong
Is the ning nang ning nang nong
