I prefer to keep this short and sweet, as I do believe in a certain degree of privacy and mystery.  After all, isn't discovery the entire point of writing?

Here goes. So...

I'm seventeen years old.  I go to an average high school in an average town, the true wherabouts I will not mention here.  My pen name is well known around it, as I have published various works in the past, most of which I have kept a careful eye on  and cannot be found.  Practically no one (but a select few) know my real identity and that's the way I wish to keep it, because this would be complicating.  Combining true experiences with imagination, as well as my perceptions of others, is not always something that others agree with; this is why I chose a psuedonym.

I have a long, brown, curly mane that hangs down my shoulders and pale skin, except during summertime when I am always tan.  I have a relatively small build, but also a healthy one (meaning I do not starve myself to please other people with appearances).  I wear makeup but not much and only eye liner, as well as the occasional blush for color.  My eyes are golden brown, a rather unusual thing that is usually the first or second thing one notices about me.  I am always active and never in one place for too long. Most could describe me as popular, but within my own clique.  I am also very aloof and this allows me to maintain that certain degree of mystery, previously mentioned, in my self image.  I do not cry in front of others or express my inner sadnesses to others.  This is something that I do on paper.

I am also somewhat a "magician" and have baffled a few friends on how I do things, such as opening car door locks with the snap of my fingers or suddenly disappearing and, at select times, reappearing, seemingly from nowhere.  Of course, I dont do this purposely; In fact, I actually tend to forget that others are or aren't watching and don't realize that I've snuck up on them until it's too late. What can I say? I guess I just have light footsteps, probably the result of bow hunting in the woods for many years.

I do not appreciate people who stop in front of you suddenly in hallways when you are trying to walk, or people who shove you aside to be the last to fit into an elevator that you wouldn't have taken anyway, having been polite enough to wait until the next ride down.  If you are one of those who do these types of things and happen to be unfortunate enough to cross my path, I'm very likely to either A) scissor chop you out of my way, or B) inadvertantly scowl at you and continue on with my day.  It just depends on what time of the day you catch me and/ or what type of day I'm having. Of course, this isn't to say that I am the type easily irritated.  I have absolutely no temper whatsoever unless talked down to, at which point it's usually never a pretty sight. I have a high tolerance for idiodicy but a low tolerance for B.S.

My dress attire is casual but nice, meaning that I incorporate popular clothing brands such as Aeropostale, AE, Wet Seal, and Abercrombie and Fitch into my normal wardrobe.  I don't usually wear dresses and prefer not to, but I'm not afraid of being girly every once in awhile!

Well, this is pretty much all I can think of at the moment. Thanks for reading!

-L.B
