This is a poem that I wrote after ending a relationship....
At a young age I begin writing to express any emotions I wouldn't be able to express to a person. Becoming a habit, anytime there was either a problem or a joyous time my journal would be that second ear of no judgement. I became interested in poetry from Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes while in middle school and as I went on to college any other authors my teachers would suggest I would heavily involve myself into their work. I am a twenty-seven year old who sees the world beyond it's meaning. I like to challenge my mind and go left when others go right. I always tend to find a smile to match my moods. This page will be dedicated to my passion: writing, emotions, family, love, people, hope, anger, everything that comes to mind. Thanks to family friends and well wishers I am now ready to open myself without worry of judgment, so as I nurture this baby I hope you would enjoy! :)
