Paul McGoran has been a Russian language interpreter for the U. S. Navy, a career marketing executive, a day trader and a free-lance management consultant.  Now, he has realized a long-cherished desire to write fiction.  He wrote his first novel, Porkpie, in 2005, as part of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), an internet-based competition that supports writers in the creation of a first draft.  Paul has also published a novella called The Breastplate of Faith and Love with Lulu (www.lulu.com/mcgoran), the leading publisher of print on demand books.  All of his works are in the hardboiled mystery/suspense genre.Paul lives in Newport, Rhode Island.  He is currently at work on his second novel, a sequel to Porkpie entitled A Tale of Two.
