I started writing in August 2008 and to my surprise one of my first short stories won second place in The Paranormal Underground's short story contest. I've had a lot of fun emersing myself in strange worlds and hope to continue to do so at least until the well runs dry. Horror seems to be my style of choice. I like to write dark poems as well. I don't usually read, I wait for the movie. I envy the people that can lose themselves in a book. This site is helping me to appreciate writing and learn how people write the things I wish I could. I love it when I grab my notebook and the words just flow. I hate it when I get writer's block and leave my story in limbo for weeks.
