I'm a 28 year old Englishman living in a small town in Derbyshire. I write dark poetry and short horror stories. I joined Booksie to share my work and also to read others, so if you've got some dark fiction in your ports let me know and i'll happily check it out. I particularly like dark poetry. I believe that poetry should be stimulating and evoke an emotional response, whether its laughter, repulsion, whether it disturbs or shocks. I don't believe true creativity is in the detail but the overall feeling. So don't worry if your poems are not grammatically correct or if your spelling sucks. I write because i want to, and not to please any technical constraints of proper rhyme and structure. Free your minds and your hearts and don't let the rule book hold you back.
All the best, ReflectingeyE.
