A Little About Me
I'm Sam, age 19. I started writing about five years ago. Television, movies, video games, books--the medium doesn't matter to me; I'll take a story in any form. You can be as corny or as cheesy as you want; if you have well-crafted characters, I'll probably like it, and if you have good dialogue, I'll probably love it.
I've never been well grounded in reallity. It's a bit too boring and stale for me. As such, I specialize in fantasy novels, usually marketed to the male young adult audience. Expect action and humor and occasionally gore, but little to no romance.
Dead Man's Dice
As sole custodian of his younger sibling, seventeen-year-old Jude would do anything to keep his little brother Noah safe. But his overprotective tendencies backfire when Noah, feeling stifled by Jude's affection, seeks out a supernatural way to become stronger and prove he is capable of handling himself. Unaware of the rules of magic, Noah receives his wish but becomes enslaved to the evil faerie Favor, who sends Noah on a deadly quest to earn his freedom, permitting Jude to accompany him as bodyguard.
Now Jude must fight to keep his brother safe as they embark on a mission to defeat Favor's powerful and dangerous nemesis. Meanwhile, Jude struggles to devise a way to put an end to Favor's trickery, soon discovering that the faerie has been manipulating humans into doing his bidding for far longer than anyone would have imagined.
William Walter's Aide
Gifted with the ability to perceive the supernatural, fifteen-year-old William Walter can see what's invisible to everyone else: angels, spirits, and most dangerous of all, demons. With the help of a socially inept water spirit and a hand-me-down angelic sword, Will spends every spare moment he has defending his hometown from unseen evils.
But when Will is targeted by an army of demons hoping to avenge their fallen comrades, Will discovers he's ill-prepared to face the full power of the spiritual world. Soon his small daily skirmishes transform into a war that will determine the fate of his city, and Will, overwhelmed and underpowered, is forced to put together his own motley militia to protect himself and his loved ones.
