Hello my name is sam and although i'm 29 years old. I have only just really discovered poetry! I read a few of my friends poems one night, and i was inspired by how clever and well written they were, so i guess that's what got me writing.

The only time i've ever really had a go at rhyming words and writing something creative, was for my girlfriend on her birthday and valentines day. Lately i have tried my hand at sitting down with a pen and paper and writing what's on my mind; It's been very mentally stimulating and rewarding, and a great way to pass some time.

Anyway time to wrap this mini bio up and read what you guys have been writing, and see if i can learn more about what i hope will be my new hobby.
