About Me:

My name is Sarah. I turned sixteen years old on December 29th. I am a high school junior living in a small town where everyone knows everyone. I know how lucky I am to have the life that I do and I don't intend to take it for granted. 

I'm a writer. I love to write, and writing has always been an important part of me. It's how I express myself and my feelings when I don't know how. I plan on studying creative writing when I go to college and becoming an author someday.

Through The Ice (Written for rsjakovac's Setting Contest)- Laila is an Austrilian scientist that has been sent to the Casey Station in Casey, Antartica to help with the Re-Building Antarctica Program. One day, she is sent out to collect an ice sample from a faraway mountain, and after a long day of hiking alone, she makes a careless error and falls in the ice. She is miles away from help with a broken walkie talkie and only has a few hours before she freezes to death. Will she get help in time?
