Shaira Iqbal the eldest of three children was born and brought up in a small village called Gelioya. She has completed schooling in 2009 and presently an English teacher trainee at Mahaweli National  College of Education . Her efficiency in writing was unknown then, although she was fond of reading and had occassionally written essays merely for the sake of academic purposes. Discovering IiWords a facebook page was a miracle which woke up the dormant writer within her. This stimulated her courage and helped her glean immense motivation to pen down her thoughts, thus gradually helping her grow as a successful writer.
