I fell in love

and I discovered I could live;

thought God had sent her from above,

and I gave her all that I could give.

I gave her my heart,

all of my love,

not just part,

but it wasn't enough.

I thought all was lost

and nothing was worth

I had paid the ultimate cost

and I prayed to erase my very birth.

I ran 1000 miles away,

like a child,

I could not stay

to let my emotions run wild.

not for me.
