I was doing a random check on one of my postings #16 "Facing One's Fears" and discovered to my horror that the ending had been chopped off.
It is hard enough to research, edit, spell-check, spell-check again, spell-check a third time, reformat, a few other steps, and finally publish a story at Booksie without having to worry about length. I don't like publishing three chapter "novels" but a lot of the three chapter "novels" you see at my site are the result of cramped space. There are actually few of my stories that I intend to go beyond three chapters but I can see that I will have to re-publish many of my stories as novels so that my readers can read the ending of short stories.
I apologize to my readers but you also have the responsibility to send a message like:
"Hey Toni, where's the rest of the story? This looks like it was cut off mid----"
---sentence. I am not asking a lot. Just asking you to speak up and report technical problems like this so that my hard work results in your enjoyment..
Fair enough?
