27.02.13: This will be my last update here, dear Booksians. After much consideration, I've decided to leave Booksie. I've had an amazing three years on here, made some incredible friends and met some great writers. I wouldn't be where I am now, both as a person and as a writer, if not for the support, encouragement and friendship I've received from the lovely people on Booksie. For that, I'm so grateful. To anyone who has ever read my work and offered encouragement or advice, I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You've helped my writing in ways I can't begin to describe.

Over the years, many Booksians I've had the privilege to call friends have come and gone from the site, some of whom I've kept in contact with, some, unfortunately, I haven't been able to. I don't want that to be the case with me. Just because I'm no longer on Booksie doesn't mean I'm not available to talk to. I'm still an ardent writer and, though I no longer post my work online, I love to talk to others about writing, books and life in general. If you'd like to keep in contact with me, I'm on Twitter, my blog, Goodreads and NaNoWriMo. Drop by and say hello at any time!

I’m Under Your Spell. Bit of a mouthful, isn’t it? Call me Spell.

My internet alias pretty much embodies my genre of choice: fantasy. I’ve had five years’ experience in writing short stories, novellas and even a few poems, some of which are posted on Booksie, but my foray into full-length novel territory began with Last Breath, two long years ago.
