"Follow your passion and success will follow you." --Terri Guillemets
I fully intend to live by that quote. My whole being revolves around my music and my love for the music I make.
My name's Stormy. Call me Storm. Please.
I am a complete and total band nerd.
I play clarinet in the high school band, currently, and to be quite frank with you, I am very good at it. I have a lot of talent and a lot of potential.
I plan to be a band director when I graduate from college. Laugh all you want, but I absolutely love it. I want to give back to kids what my band directors have given me: The gift of music, something to look forward to, and something to always better yourself in. And, most importantly, something to be proud of.
A senior in high school.
A student leader in my organization. I teach people how to march, how to play, and I'm responsible for making sure they know how to march, how to play their music by memory, how well they do in band, and I have to keep up with their grades to make sure they're passing and eligible for contest. Don't you ever downplay band. It's a hell of a lot harder than you think it is. People count on me and look up to me all the time.
The top girl in my class. The 2 people in front of me are both guys and both very close friends of mine.
A complete History buff. My favorite time periods are the time period of Henry V and the 1920's to present.
Extremely opinionated. I will state my opinion. Don't get offended when I do. That's just stupid. If you ask for it, then don't get all uppity when you don't agree. Just agree to disagree, okay?
Really, very friendly. I love meeting new people, so don't be shy. Talk to me! I may not get back to you immediately, but I never just cut people off when we're in the middle of a conversation. So, you see that 'Leave a Comment' box down there? Why don't you do what it says for once in your life and start a conversation?!
I love to read. That's why I'm on here. So, if you have a reading request, leave it in a comment. I check this pretty frequently. But, one thing:
IF YOU HAVE BAD GRAMMAR, I REFUSE TO READ YOUR WORK. THAT IS ONE OF MY BIGGEST PET PEEVES.
