My poem 'LET ME FINISH' has been accepted for publication 'Stars In Our Hearts' poetry compilation (ISBN 978-1-60880-123-7). The poem is also a semi-finalist for one of 116 cash prizes, including $1,000 Grand Prize of The World Poetry Movement. Today, I also got a rejection for a short story I rec. submitted. I'm not concerned or upset, those fools will kick themselves later! So it goes...

In the spirit of practice what you preach, I've completed a short for the NPR contest. It took me all of four hours by using characters (Neill Murray as example)and story elements I had already created in other works. This really helped to streamline the process and give me a sense of confidence in what I was doing. However, when I got it done, doubt crept in and I began to second guess it. Sometimes it just takes saying F**K IT, and trusting yourself. I submitted it this afternoon!
