Well, just because Instant Messaging isn't all that...
Once you find out what really makes the world go round, and the clocks on the walls keep ticking, all that is left is to write about it. Inspiring people and being inspired are the best things in life, as I have found. There is no "wrong" in literature, no norm, no set of rules that all need to follow. I myself make a habit of going against the grain, and when that isn't socially accepted, I turn to my work. Poetry is my favortie form of expression, although there has been the occasional unfinished short story. I have such a bad record of doing things too thouroughly, so nothing really is ever done I guess.
The only time I can remember not stopping to smell the roses was on the day when they were all dead. I love the smell of summer thunderstorms and passing fall showers. The visual and perceptual things that surround me help me create my best works. You will find quite a few are bent around the topics of rain, or darkness, because that was when I was writing them, when that phenomenon was occuring. I enjoy being in the company of my friends, and I especially enjoy being outside, cold or otherwise.
Perhaps the things I stare at in my leisure time are just simple peices of paper, maybe a drawing from a younger child, or even a bill, and perhaps they mean nothing to most other human beings. But, the things in and around me a make up my footprint that I will leave on this earth when I am gone. And, to that fact, II want to make sure the footprint I leave is well rounded, and important to people, knowlegable to my existance or not.
