Tiger in the neighborhood park
Chapter One - IT
It was a bright sunny afternoon, I was riding my Apollo Viking bicycle in the park.
I was approaching half the circle when my mother called out,
"Come on! We're getting late!".
I called back,
"After I finish this round. Ok?".
"Ok, but please do it fast."
She replied. So I kept on pedaling. When I reached half of the circle, I stopped to rearrange my pedals. Just as I finished, I heard,
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHAAAAAAHHHHH RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!! AAAAHHHH!!!!!!!"
"What was that?" I thought I looked up, it was my mom and sisters they took off for home. "Maybe they were late for something. But why would they say Run for your lives then?" I thought. Then I thought I heard something grunting behind me. I swung around. Then, I saw IT!
Chapter Two - The Run Back Home
I saw a tiger! I was face to face, shoulder to shoulder, body to body, everything to everything with a TIGER!! I almost felt the fire started in my head and started spreading like a forest fire. I took off for the exit in front of me at warp speed. Unfortunately, the tiger followed me. I was 5 feet far from my home when somehow, the pedal got jammed!
"Oh, come on!"
I said I got off my bike and started running, then a car came from a different direction and distracted the tiger it started running after it. However, I couldn't reach the gate! My mom called out from the kitchen window,
"Come on! Hurry up!"
I finally reached there panting and when I reached there, I looked around. "How very odd" I thought. There wasn't a single guard in sight! Earlier this morning, when I opened my fortune cookie, it said, "Your eyes will deceive you." I gulped. Could that be true? I looked at my bike, the coast was clear I ran back and sat on my bike the peadle was unstuck now. Just then the tiger jumped out of nowhere! I started pedaling as if I were in a race. Just then, the tiger caught my hand!
I screamed and screamed,
"Let me go! Let me go!"
Just then, I was jiggled awake! Then, my sister asked,
"Are you having nightmares? Wake up! It's 9:00!"
I blinked. Was that a dream? Thank god! I couldn't wait to tell my family what a dream I had!
What I told my family
