A blonde, sixteen year old boy walked in Café` Shay I examined him closely. I pressed the warm cup of caramel macchiato against my lips, moistening them as I stared at the teen. He was wearing shorts and a blue collared shirt. He didn’t look anything like his picture, I panned across the room. It was quiet, smooth jazz was playing. The girl at the counter had long, red hair and she sounded like she was a third grader. The boy had paid for his coffee and was heading to the restroom. I had to watch and examine carefully. I tugged at my long, blonde wig fixing to wear it felt comfortable. I pulled the mirror out of my purse and looked at my hair. The wig surprisingly looked real and it stuck to my head like glue . I put the compact sized mirror back into my black purse. The boy was walking out of the bathroom. His coffee waiting for him.

“Thank you” he said to the red head over the counter. She smiled and he glanced at his watch and gave a face then speed walked out of the café. I stood up and slung my purse over my shoulder and grabbed the macchiato and ran out. He wasn’t too far ahead. I turned to my left and began following him. He was on the move, like he was in a hurry for something. I tossed my coffee into the trash as I began to speed walk. He looked back behind him and then began running. I didn’t want to be obvious, so I swung into a abandoned alley.

I tore off my wig and stuffed it into my purse grabbing another wig and planting it to my head. This one was long and red, it went past my shoulders. I glanced around then walked into a port-o-potty. I changed out of my clothes into a more sophisticated look. I wore a white skirt about knee length with knee high socks. I adjusted the Sais that were inside of the leather strips high up on my thighs. I buttoned up the white collared shirt, I felt like a nerd. I added the cardigan making my outfit seem more appealing. I hid a katana in its sheath and into my left boot. In a unbreakable bag were my ninja stars I hid them in my right boot. I stuck my handgun into my skirt it was covered well by the shirt.

I exited the bathroom that smelled like a dead body and walked out of the alley. I peeked out of the alley the guy was gone. I looked around, DANG IT! I quickly grabbed my cell phone and swung into the alley. I dialed the phoned with my thumb being as quick as possible.

“ ‘Ello love, ‘ow are you today?” I spoke with a heavy British accent. “ Yes, well ya see we seem to have stumbled into a slight problem. Yes. While I was attending to my outfit I lost track of the targets. Indeed. I see, 1st and 9th? Two blocks? Okay. Thank ya love. No, I won’t lose the bloody target again. Uh huh thank ya much. Yes I know you want ‘im un’armed. Well see how well ‘e coopaerates. Okay I got to go, ta ta for now.” I hung up the phone and stuck it back into my purse. Quickly I started walking to 1st and 9th, to meet my target. I stumbled upon a valuble clue.

I bent down to the ground as I picked up a small wad of chewing gum. It was pink and still fresh. I pressed my fingers around it. Tracking device… We aren’t dealing with your every day enemies. This guy had some smarts, I put the gum into a plastic bag. If it wasn’t attached to the shoe it wasn’t activated. I looked up and saw the guy walk into an alley. I climbed the fire escape of a nearby building and hopped from roof to roof. Until I was above him. The night grew more silent. I watched as the moon illuminated the guy below. It was quiet, nobody on the streets. He pressed his back against a wall. Carefully I hopped down as not to be seen. Althought he may have say my shadow because he stood straight up preparing for combat.

“I knew you were following me…” He spoke intently looking around.

“Well love, can’t say I’m surprised at your skill to put clues together.” I replied.

                “So, what do you want?”

“Well I’ll give ya two options… the first one you stand still while I ‘andcuff you, or two we do this the hard way and maybe a little blood is bled. Your choice… Choose wisely…” I said reaching into my right boot slowly pulling out a ninja star. I fingered the star in my hand ready to throw it at my target.

“Hmmm sounds like two interesting options…. How about this you come down here and let me handcuff you…and then I take you downtown.” The teen spoke as the wind blew breezes that made wisps of his blonde hair dance.

“Well love, I’d love to do it your way but unfortunately I ‘ave been giving orders…”

“Well then, I guess it comes down to… Who will be the first one down…” He pulled out a gun from his pocket. I threw the star at his wrist, and it nipped him. He dropped his gun with a cut barely that big blood came shooting out of the wound. He looked around as he bent for his gun. I jumped toward him delivering a blow to his chest. He fell back onto the brick wall. I pulled out my katana from my left boot.

“I gave ya the choice love…. But too lil to late…” I put the katana on his chest, showing I had dominance. Quickly I felt him sweep his leg undermine and I fell still gripping the katana, I placed it back into my boot. He grabbed his gun and I kicked it out of the way. I felt him grab me and lift my hundred and thirty pound butt and toss me into a wall. I slammed into the brick and stood up, I ran up and kicked him in the chest. He doubled over. I grabbed my gun and pointed it to his head as I backed him against the wall.

“Don’t you dare think I won’t blast your brains out of your skull!” I held the pistil firmly against his head my finger on the trigger. “Give up?” I saw him ponder whether he gave up or not. I felt him thinking then he looked at me with his dark blue eyes.

“There’s no bullets is there?” He said sounding like I was stupid.

                “There’s bullets…” I replied.

“If there is you won’t care to demonstrate shoot your gun in the air.”

                “NO”

“Well how can you properly threaten someone without bullets?” I stuck my gun in the air and shot twice. As my hand was in the air he pushed me to the ground. I felt him grab me by my waist and lift me up off the ground.

                “Let go!” I demanded.

“Oh, I’d love to love but I has orders to carry out.” He said making fun of my accent. I began hitting him with my fists but I wasn’t strong enough. He tossed me over his shoulder and I started kicking and screaming. I had no defense. He dragged me to a van, and the doors opened. There were the rest of the goons. He climbed in holding me, then as we sat down he began tying me up.

“How’d you do it?” the driver asked.

“A little effort, taking down an English girl isn’t so hard…” he said staring at me. I stuck my tongue out at him. He smirked. I thought of my next move. MY SAIS! I stuck my hands down my skirt and grabbed one of the sais and gentley pulled it from the leather strap. I began cutting the ropes that were entangled around me. The ropes looked like they held me still and slid the sai back into place on my thigh. Then I grabbed a smoke bomb out of my boot, and then with in seconds. The van was full of smoke. Everyone was coughing. I gripped the door and swung it open. I jumped out of the big, white, van and started running down the street. Quickly I ran into a convience store and ran to the bathroom.

I tore off my wig and threw it on the floor, I had to act fast! My brown hair poured out of the wig and I tousled it lightly. I unruffled my skirt and turned it inside out, luckily it was reversible. I pulled off the collard shirt I was wearing and buttoned up the cardigan. I reached into my boots and pulled out flats. I threw my stuff out the window into a bush.  I walked out of the bathroom as the goons entered in. I watched the blonde boy enter in, he looked all perfect and everything. He strutted up to me.

“Excuse me!”

“Oh yes, how can I help you?”

“Well have you seen a red head run in here?”

“Me no…”

“Oh, well it doesn’t matter… How about we go get something to eat?”

“Haha, well I kind of have a boyfriend.”

“What’s his name?”

“Oh his name?’

“Yeah…”

“Jacob Smitheron?”

“Jacob Smitheron?”

“Yeah…”

“Haha that’s the most ridiculous name I’ve ever heard!”

“Well that’s his name…”

“Sure it is…”

“IT IS!”

“Haha okay, well if you aren’t…” my stomach growled “hungry nevermind.”

“Actually…”I had to be smart, what if this is a trap?

“BOSS! BOSS!” The goons ran in yelling.

                “What?”

“Look!” They held my red wig, I slowly slid away from the scene. The tall blonde grabbed me and pulled me next to him. Oh man, I’m not getting out easy am I?

“Hey! Either you buy something or leave!” The store owner spoke with a heavy Indian man accent.

“Sorry, sorry we’re leaving…Come on guys.” He dragged me out walking as if we were a couple.

“So boss, do we go get her or?”

“Why don’t you guys come have a bite to eat with me and….”

                “Alissa…”

                “Alissa!”

“If ya say so boss…” CRAP! I needed to get out of here fast!

“Oh, I’d love lunch but I gotta run….”

“Oh just one bite won’t hurt….” He said as we walked into the Coffee Shop I previously chased him out of. CRAP! CRAP! My sense of danger tingled! This was bad…REAL BAD!
