The clan of the Delfire is a well knows clan throughout the lands for their good deeds and skilled warriors. I am one of those ninja in training in our small village. My father was the chief of the village. And my older brother who is my idol is head of the top warriors called the black moon knights. Our clan has many enemies but they are to afraid to even try to invade our village it is custom for when a boy or girl hits the age of eight they go though training of our own before being sent off to the academy for our lands. Which are called the land of honor for our group of villages has always had each other’s aid if needed. That is what makes us so powerful.

“Hey Vahn you got to wake up, your father and brother are leavening on a mission so you have extra chores” I heard my mother call from down stairs. It is custom the youngest boy to pick up the work. I got up and put on my shirt and my necklace that my brother gave me that he was given when he graduated the academy. I go down stairs to find my father dressed in his battle wear, which consisted of a black ninja outfit. And my brother was also dressed in it they carried swords and a pouch for little knick-knacks.

“Hey squirt” said my brother Icein who was hugging mom good bye. Icein was only 19 years old and he already was head of the BMK and also highly decelerated for taking on over 50 S rank missions for the good of the Delfire clan and the land of honor.

“Hey big bro going on another mission” I said looked at my mom you could see the worry in her eyes. She looked away she had been crying.

“You could say that” my bro said with a weak laugh he then looked at me dad who shook his head yes. “Hey Vahn can I talk to you outside” Icein said as he walked out I went after him. “Vahn there comes a time in every boys life when he has to grow up and sometimes that time comes sooner then we want. Dad and me are going to try and fend of an attack from the land of hell dragon. It is a very dangerous mission and there is a chance that I will not come back alive. Dad is only fallowing me to the end of the village then me and the BMK are going to set out on our way,” said Icein.

My eyes filled with tears and I broke down and hugged him “No big brother you can’t go stay here don’t go get hurt please don’t.” I screamed at the top of my lungs a quick swing went across my cheek, it was my brothers left hand it stung.

“Get a hold of your self Vahn I know you are only 12 years old but you will understand when you’re older. I would be honored to die just to know that you will have the same chance I did.” Said Icein and he handed me a box. “Here I got you a gift.”

I opened it to reveal a beautiful blade of great craftsmanship. “Wow I said looking at it not only was it beautiful but it was very sharp.

“Ha I knew that would cheer you up a bit I was going to give it to you considering that you are going into the academy next month. But I figured if I don’t come back that you have it. Now Vahn I want you to make a promise to me okay.” Icein’s tone turned totally serious.

“What is it brother” I said looking at him intently.

“You must promise me if I die you will do everything in your power to defend these lands even if I’m dead.” said Icein

“Yes big brother I swear I will use every ounce of mana I have in my body to defend these lands.” I said and then Icein took my hand and his and his hand glow red and I felt something burn into my hand.

“This Vahn is a reminder that what we said to day will stay in our minds for as long as we both live.” Said my brother it was a sign of a tree.

“Icein we must leave your men are waiting” my father said and with that him and Icein left.

I went inside and started to do my choice I wanted to get done as quick as possible so that maybe father could teach me some moves when he got back. I did them at lightning fast speeds and after that my mother called me to eat.

“Hun are you okay,” my mother said.

“Oh yeah mom just thinking.” I said

“About?” my mother then said.

“Icein and the war and just everything.” I said.

“Oh you don’t need to worry your brother will be fine he is a fighter and a great one at that. He will take care of things.” Said my mother.

“Okay mom” I said taking a big bite of the noodles she made, at that moment my dad walked in and sat down he looked sad.

“Are you hungry” my mother asked him.

“Do I look hungry to you Lisa?” my dad yelled at my mom.

“Calm down Craven you are going to scare Vahn.” My mother yelled back at him.

“I’m sorry it’s just I’m worried the other villages are not even putting half there forces and we know that they are going to strike the capital first.” My dad said as he stood up.

“Hey dad do you think you could help me with my sword play?” I blurted out. He looked at me and then smiled.

“Not today son maybe tomorrow.” He then went up stairs to his room. After dinner it was nighttime and I decided to go to sleep early to wake up early and get my work done. I wanted to feel like Icein was home so I snuck into his room and fell asleep on his bed.

I awoke with the sounds of flames and metal clashing together I sat up and then heard my father yell and the whole house shook as I heard a wall collapse. What was going on?

I opened the door to find my mother covered in blood coming up the stairs she spotted me and yelled for me to stay in the room. What were we under attack? My mom came in and shut the door.

“We were tricked Vahn the Hell dragon army is here.” The door opened and a man came running in but my mother intercepted him with an uppercut and then a swift kick the chest. She then black flip kicked him snapping his neck. I never had seen my moms do that before.

“Mom wow that was awesome.” I said wide-eyed. I blast of blue hit my mother flying her into the wall she withered in pain against the wall a large man stepped into the room.I un sheathed my sword and ran at him.

“Don’t hurt my mother you bastard,” I yelled stabbing him in the back he yelled in pain then brought his elbow back sending me into the wall. My father ran into the room his hand had a fiery blue glow to them he hit the man sending him out the window and then he took me and my mother and leaped from the window we landed in front of our house to find that most of my clan had either been killed or captured. My dad set us down in the bushes and then I saw him. The man my dad told me about with the black snake tattoo on his face.

“Ha Thanatoast this the best you got my clan has killed probably 70 percent of your clan.” My father laughed with very little energy in his body.

“True to that but I know once the Delfire clan falls the whole damn land of honor goes with it.” Said Thanatoast my father charged him and they engaged in a fierce battle I had never seen father fight as he was here. I noticed a group of ninja at the gates of the city far off.

“Big brother” I screeched with glee. To only alert the enemy of to where we were? I heard my brother’s voice on the wind.

“Black Moon Knights spread out leave none alive.” Said Icein as I saw him dropping troop after troop of the hellfire’s army. It is like listening to music as he moved all of his moves seemed to flow into the next. It was like an work of art as he moved closer to me and my father.

Icein and his troops had finally made it to us but he was to late my father lay lifeless on the ground killed at the hands of Thanatoast who only laughed at him.

“Nice trick boy did you like it?” said Thanatoast but in a rage Icein attacked him swinging violently he had let his emotions take control of him and was becoming sloppy. Thanatoast grabbed his neck and pulled his sword from him throwing it to the side he then swiftly smashed his own sword into icein’s stomach. Icein gasped for air.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” I screamed a ball of White lightning appeared in my hand and I throw it into the back of Thanatoast he flew into the air and was sent flying off into a building he took one look at me in sheer horror and ran off. I fell down in front of Icein who lay dieing I ran to him and fell to my knees.

“H-h-hey squirt” said Icein fighting the pain. He had already lost way too much blood to be brought back.

“Big brother you cant die please don’t die brother” I said in tears over him.

“Vahn listen to me you have a gift the color of your mana was white it means your destiny lies with, within the prophecy of clan you are the warrior of the Delfire.” Said Icein.

“No, No you are I am not skilled like you” I said grabbing his hand his katana which was the clans sword known as the Silver light lay by his side he grabbed it and handed it to me.

“Tell, Tell no one of the name of this sword. If they knew that this was the silver light then the spies for Thanatoast will come for you to. He already knows that you are, are they chosen one” Icein replied and they were his dieing words. I buried my face into my hands crying until I heard a voice it was my mothers I stood up and ran over to her she had been badly wounded.

“Mother are you okay” I said wiping the tears from my eyes.

“No Vahn I hurt badly but I think I will live” my mother said. She looked off and saw a single black moon knight walking over to us.

“Razor” I yelled running to him and hugging him.

“Dead all of them dead” said Razor walking over to my mom with me latched to him.

“Who could of done this to us they are horrible people to tell them where our village was” said my mother.

“Yes it was a hard thing to do but I think I did the right thing” said Razor. I pulled away and let go. I stood back and looked him in the eye.

“No you couldn’t have” I said to him then I added “Big brother trusted you” I charged him but he kicked me into a wall and stared to walk towards me.

“DON”T YOU LAY A FINGER ON MY SON” my mother said. Standing up and conjuring what mana she had left in her body.

“Don’t you think about witch” said Razor then he added. “Lord Chaos will be pleased with the work me and my master have done here and now I will wipe out the chosen one before he can even start. Black flames appeared in Razors hands but my mother was to quick she jumped in front of me. Razor’s hand went straight though her. She gasped but then shoved her hand tough his chest. He gasped and his eyes shoot wide open. “m-m-master Chaos please I beg of you, you told me you would heal me” said Razor. He seemed to be talking to himself but you could tell that someone was answering his plea’s. “But you said that you would” said razor desperate for healing. “ButI, I nooooo” and razor fell dead as did my mother.

“Mother noooooooooo” I screamed and ran to her I held her lifeless body until I noticed people entering the village they were academy guards.

“What the hell happened here” one said to the other.

“Quite Shin they could still be here” said the older one.

“Yes master I am sorry” said shin. The older one closed his eyes. And then opened them.

“You can come out young one we will not hurt you I promise.” Said the older one. I stood up and stepped out of the shadows covered in blood tears in my eyes I recognized the older one as one of our own clan.

“Grandpa” I screamed and ran over to him I fell into his arms I was not alone anymore.

“Vahn what happened here” he said holding me close to him.

“They are dead, everyone mom, dad and Icein everyone.” I said in between tears I cried harder and harder as it hit me.

“Who could have done such a thing” said Shin.

“THEM I HATE THEM, I HATE THEM ALL I WANT TO KILL THEM WITH MY BARE HANDS.” I yelled in pure hatred at that moment I had chosen my nindo. Nindo is my ninja way. It was revenge if it kills the hell dragon clan.

“Vahn who did this” my grandfather demanded. I was scared by his voice and the I calmed down.

“The hell dragon clan I will kill them all that is my nindo” I said in a fury voice. I felt a hand hit the side of my face.

“That is not the kind of nindo you would want and you know it you are just made at moment you need to find out what is most important to you.” Said my wise grandfather who is one of the main counsel men at the academy.

“I’m sorry grandfather you are right I am a disgrace to the family.” I fell to my knees crying.

“Lets get him out of her and to the academy” said my grand father to shin.

“Yes master ill take him you can run a report.” Said shin.

“Good” said my grandfather and shin picked my up and we left…
