I started to write a novel, when it turned out to be something else. I think it belongs at the end of a book, rather than the start. If I get many views, likes, and positive comments, I'll write the rest of it... or more like the beginning. You'll already know how it ends, but there isn't much mystery to it, I also line it up for a sequel, that may or may not be created.

"You shall pay!" The words echoed through the cave, bouncing off the walls like a ping pong ball. "You shall pay!" There it was again, only louder this time.

"Please! Please, no! I didn't do it! T'was not me!" Another voice screamed.

I looked around, trying to see where the voices were coming from. The echoes confused me, sending me walking in the wrong direction. I stumbled upon a small tunnel that branched off the main cavern. Deciding quickly, I dropped to my knees and crawled into it.

It was dark, the only thing lighting my way; glow worms that squirmed on the ground like slugs. The sides of the passageway were decorated with a bright yellow moss, fearing it was poisonous I tried to avoid touching even the tiniest bit of it. Sharp rocks, hung like icicles from the roof, I was scarily close to their sharp, piercing points. An over whelming aroma of wet dog and moist sponge crept up to my nose, causing me to scrunch it up in disgust.

My pace quickened when I saw light as I drew closer to the end of the tunnel. I felt suspicious due to the fact the central cave was dark as well, this passageway must lead to the surface. I smiled to myself, happy that I had finally found my way out. But I knew this wasn't the end, there was more terror for me to face, even more horror to come.
