"Hey, Logan!" The warden said, "You got a visitor," she opened the cell door and grabbed my wrists and cuffed me, pulling it tight as she did so. Her wrinkled hands scratched my soft palms and I looked up at her with a glare, her face was as wrinkled as her hands and her eyes stared blankly at me as if I were trash.
"Who is it this time? Some pedo cop wanting to figure out 'the truth'?" I asked, irritated that someone had woken me up.
"No, its some guy who calls himself James," she muttered putting in a code to a door. My heart raced at the mention of his name, he was back and I had a feeling he was breaking me out.
The warden opened another door and sat me in a chair, we were in a private room. The door across from the table opened and in walked James, I smiled and he smiled back.
"Hey, babe," he said sitting down across from me, "I have missed you."
I lifted up my leg and rubbed it against his calve, "I've missed you too, sweetie."
He winked at me, "So, whats new with you?"
'New' I thought, 'code word for nine o'clock.'
"I have been reading lately," I replied.
'Reading' I thought to myself, 'code word for day.'
"So have I, I just finished twilight,"he commented.
'Twilight, term for tomorrow morning.'
"Really? I just finished Eclipse," I said excited.
"Eclipse means how' I thought.
"Cool, have you ever read Dead, Dark, and Dangerous? I read it when I was younger," he asked.
'Dead' I thought,'means bomb, dark means power shut down, and dangerous means possible shootout.'
"Yes, it was terrific!" I replied smiling.
"Terrific means understood.'
"I love you, Sam," James said leaning forward, he held my face in his hands and kissed me, he passed me a small chip which I hid under my tongue.
"I love you too,"I smiled.
"Times up, you too," the guard said pulling me away from him, I grinned back at James and winked excited for my breakout.
