The New Guy
It was time for the Code: Missing Laptop Mission. It's not just anyone's laptop, it's Nicholas Richie's, the multi-millionaire song/movie producer. He wants Cameron and I to find it and track the person down. We were off and got to the building where he realized his laptop was stolen. We saw a black shadow and followed it. It went into Nicholas's office and then dissapeared. We heard a noise behind us and turned around. Some guy in black was running away from us. We kept chasing him and got closer. We caught himand tied him to the wall. We took his mask off. He smirked and said, "I guess you caught me."Oh, Please don't be evil, I thought. He didn't seem that bad. Cameron looked at his gloves. "Wait, you have the OPS symbol on your gloves. You're on the good side?" Cameron said. Yes, it's a miracle! See, when you get into the OPS (Operation Spy), you get these gloves, so we all know if you're good. We untied him and said, "What's your mission." He rubbed his wrist and said, "Well, I don't mean to brag, but I have to find Nicholas Richie's stolen laptop." Cameron and I looked at each other and laughed, "That's our mission, smart one." He said, "There must be a mistake. I guess, we have to find it together since we have the same mission anyways." Cameron nodded in agreement and we were off. We got out of the building and went straight to the studio Nicholas works at. The guy asked, "Oh, by the way, what are your names? Mine is Spencer." Cameron introduced herself and me, which I could've done myself. Spencer looked at me and said, "You don't talk much, do you?" I just turned around. He sighed, "Guess not." Cameron whispered to me, "What's your deal? I thought you would've liked him." I whispered back, "I don't trust him and you shouldn't, too." She giggled and said, "Yeah, right." I turned around and bumped into Spencer. We apologized at the same time and he said, "Wow, your first words to me." I added, "And last." He said, "Ouch. Fiesty, I like it." He put his hand on my back and I grabbed it and said, "Do that again, and I'll be sure you have no more hands." He stayed there and I kept walking forward and smiled. He's kind of cute, but I'm not going to let him know that. It was time to go to sleep and we made ourselves comfortable. I slept on one couch, Cameron slept on the other, and Spencer slept on the floor, like he deserved. At least he has a pillow and blanket.
