Blonde hair and purple eyes, a wierd combination. People had told her that all the time before the explosion. Now all she heard was silence. No people to make fun of her, or to comfort her. Just her, in this vast landscape dotted with craters and smoking plains. Litt sighed and parked her motorcycle next to the door of her apartment. She shrugged off her coat and climbed the steps two at a time.
She opened the unlocked door and walked into her room. She sighed and sat on the edge of her bed. She pulled her converse off slowly and slipped under the covers.
"Maybe I'll find a clue tomorrow. I do hope so." She whispered as she closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.
The morning was bleak and gray as Litt kicked her bike into gear. Her blonde hair was up in a ponytail and black goggles protected her purple eyes. She excelerated out of the lot and swerved around debris littering the highway.
A few years ago she would have hated what she was forced to do now, but after the explosion in 2012, her life had changed. She was forced to look after herself and find the one thing that could save her. The Church.
The Church was a place that her mother spoke constantly about, 'You'll always be able to find the Church' she'd always say. But Litt was having an awful hard time doing so. She'd only been adopted into their family about three years before. And before that she was an orphan on the streets in London. The visiting family found her and adopted her.
Unfortunatley she was only with them for a year before the 'end of the world'. Litt smiled at the happy memories and then frowned at the pain-filled ones. The first year of Darkness, as the survivors came to call it, was the hardest. She was confused and lost without help to show her around. Slowly, she became stronger and thankfully she was at her strongest now.
A beep drew her from the memories and she looked down. The fuel gage was low. "Bloody Hell." She cursed ooking around for a station. Thankfully there was one about a mile ahead. She excelerated the last few feet and climbed off her bike and started to pump gas into the sports bike.
A pain swept through her mind and she barely had time to get the nozzle back into the hole before she collapsed onto the litter covered ground.
